The transformations in the health center have prompted new medical technologies in a bid to improve the means of diagnosis and increase efficiencies. Again, patients are in a position of advocating vocally for improvements of healthcare standards. Th advocacy is made easy by the patients’ ability to access more information than before. The developments in the health sector have enabled clinicians to implement satisfactory changes in a manner that will positively impact their mode of service delivery to the patients (Rivard, & Rebay, 2012). The paper highlights the technological, economic, policy, and epidemiological trends and their impact on healthcare. 

Technologically, the health sector has assumed an increase in the rate of use of machines in service delivery. As such, repetitive burdens have been eradicated, creating room for more accurate tools of medical care (Rivard, &Rebay). Health care decisions relied on pathology results, which are clearer under the guidance of artificial intelligence algorithms, an equal level of accuracy will be employed for cancer detection and pharmaceuticals discoveries.

In matters of health care coverage, commercial insurance that are employer-based is likely to assume a turnover. The change may be triggered by the employers’ mandate or external forces prompting companies to develop an entirely new relationship with employees, particularly on health insurance policies. 

Economic players will tend to change their mode of operating business. As such, they may either agree with the upcoming world of healthcare, thus pay less or assume a vertical integration by being involved in enhancing their positions in the segment of providers. 

Epidemiologically, the health sector will tend to change its business model by promoting relationships between physicians and patients, employing more physicians, and initiating a course of action with physicians (Rivard, &Rebay) As a result, primary healthcare will be enhanced, aiming at prevention of diseases.
