Nursing leadership is a management method where various personnel encourage others to undertake certain tasks by influencing them or taking part in those activities. This type of leadership is common in healthcare institutions, and nurse and other professionals can lead others in solving certain problems without necessarily holding any appointment (Broome & Marshall, 2017) . There are various reasons why one may select this management style in running an organization. First, it relies on new ideas, and in turn bring adaptability in an organization. This situation means that an entity will mostly use the latest methods to solve current problems. It is from this strategy that an organization will bring efficiency in its operations (Purdy, 2016) . Secondly, nursing leadership distributes the management process to different individuals, thus minimizing the work of the central leader. This feature is useful in the running of large entities which require broader control. It means that chances of mismanagement are minimal as many individuals occupy certain leadership positions.

The third impact of nursing leadership in the running of any organization is in identifying various leadership skills different healthcare professionals may possess. This form of management stresses the need to give powers not necessarily to the people holding titles and positions but to those exhibiting talents like the ability to command, emotional intelligence and charisma (Duggan et al., 2015) . Fourth, nursing leadership will significantly help those wishing to take up various management positions in an organization (Bowers & Goodyear, 2019) . According to this style, anyone aspiring to be a leader must possess the ability to work with others actively while thinking strategically. This leadership method will ensure that each healthcare professional is engaged, thus increasing the organization's overall performance. Lastly, nursing leadership significantly stresses the use of technology for the organization's management efficiency. Nurses and other healthcare professionals can integrate the latest advancements in undertaking various administrative duties. They may include teleconferencing and social media in passing information to different personnel.
