Internet serves as one of the most used technological innovations, with an estimate of about 70% of the entire world population using it. The use if the internet has been made easy due to innovations of electronic gadgets such as Internet-enabled mobile phones, laptop and desktop computers, which are affordable to most of the population. Through internet usage, people have been able to share ideas and information across the globe through websites and social media platforms efficiently and in real-time. In short, the internet has significantly revolutionized how people interact in both negative and positive ways.
Notably, the extraordinary growth of internet interaction is alarming. There are many limitations however associated with internet or social media interactions. One of the most common limitations is cyberbullying where many children and young people are victims. The problem sidelined with cyberbullying is the fact that anyone can open an account which the intended use can be malicious. In addition, there are many incidences of hacking where one's privacy and personal data is hacked and may be shared on the internet (Kiesler, 2014). Loss of information to the public has led to critical issues of financial loss and even life. According to my opinion, even though I view the internet as a neutral interaction ground, some of the disadvantages associated with it can make many people fear it.

Nevertheless the outlined limitations, internet interaction is on the other hand associated with multiple of strengths. For instance, in internet gaming, online multiplayer games enable the formation of a lasting relationship. Notably, people from all over the world with the same character or who like the same game meet online and become friends. When this happens for a long period, the interacting people become a community of gamers who share views and feelings (Kiesler, 2014). Therefore we can argue that internet interaction has the strength to move boundaries and make an online community that entails people with the same views from all over the world.
In essence, internet encourages the formation of new types of social interaction. In fact, the internet creates unbelievable social interaction. For instance in online gaming, a thirteen years French school girl, a twenty-seven years Swedish housewife, and a forty-four years American engineer can all be members of the same community brought together by that one favorite game (Kiesler, 2014). If the scenario is looked in a normal way, the relationship is unbelievable, but it is a fact that such interactions happen online.
