Emoji Technology Limited is currently the second largest consumer electronics manufacturer based on sales volumes. Emoji Technology Limited is part of the conglomerate Emoji Group which comprises of 50 companies and 126 subsidiaries. Emoji operates from its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. EmojiTechLtd produces an array of consumer electronics and telecommunication equipment. Phones have developed from the pioneer bulk, power scavenging, crumply phones to more sophisticated smartphones (Abnett et al., n.d.) . Phones have evolved from the conventional voice communication sole purpose to more circuitous purposes with phones being able to convey short messages (SMS), access internet, capturing high-quality photos and videos and also becoming gaming tools. These multi functions and the exponential growth of popularity of social media platform has transformed phones into a lifeline to most people in the digital era. This dependency on phones has to lead to a burgeoning market boom in the telecommunication. With the aim of capitalizing on this opportunity, an influx of companies has ventured into the telecommunication electronics manufacturing industry. To gain market competitiveness, companies require having a paradigmatic shift in policies and marketing strategies to ensure products and marketing strategy are effectively tailor fit to meet consumer demands (Abnett et al., n.d.) . 

Emoji brand has become brand synonymous withcutting-edge technological and innovation in the telecommunication industry. Emoji Tech Ltd currently operates in over 80 countries across the globe, with Asia, Europe, and North America accounting for more than 72% of the company total sales (Bendis, Gaiman, Pichelli, Ponsor, & Petit, 2013) . Recently the company is prospecting to venture into emerging markets in Africa and South America as it eyes to tap into the virgin potential of these continents. Emoji Tech Ltd has a workforce of 300000 employees across the globe. The global market forsmartphones over the year of 2016/2017 is estimated to be a total of over 362 million unit sales. Emoji Tech Ltd commands 51%e of smartphone sales. Emoji Tech Ltd made sales estimated to be of the value of $1.8 billion making a net profit of $ 600 million.

Though Emoji Tech LTD is considered to have market dominance, it faces stiff competition from Apple Corp and Transition Holdings which rank position two and three respectively based on annual sales. Apple and Transition have been able to devour a huge chunk of Emoji Tech Ltd's market share. Apple Corp markets its self-based on its revolutionary personalized system software and precision and obsession in delivering quality products. Apple poses a threat to the Emoji'shigh-end market. On the other hand Transition Holding , posses an imminent threat by offering cheaper alternatives, which appeals to the lower middle class and low-income customers (Bendis, Gaiman, Pichelli, Ponsor, & Petit, 2013) . 

Emoji Tech is set to launch a new phone Emoji Galaxy 7 which has been described as a marvel of perfect simulation of science and glamor in creating a revolutionary masterpiece. Emoji Galaxy 7 has been described as the gateway to a new dawn in technology. Intel Galaxy 7 has a width of 69.6mmlenght of 142.2mmand is 7.9 mm thick. These dimensions give the phone a huge screen and an ultra-slim body, giving it a lovely appeal and a secure, comfortable grip. The phone has a corning gorilla glass 4 and 1400* 2560 pixels resolution. This level of resolution gives the user the best quality of video and camera view available in the market, while the gorilla glass armors the screen from breakage and scratches. An internal memory of 4 GB and an octa-core processor enables the phone to operate multiple applications without any glitches or hanging. These features are likely to attract a lot of attention from the youths who are obsessed with the quality photography (TINSLEY, 2014) . 

Emoji galaxy 7 targets men as primary consumers. It’s an open secret that men are more economically empowered than their women. Sponsoring of events as a marketing tool is untapped marketing avenues that have been massively underestimated.
