In order to meet clients and patients expectations in hospitals and all other health care facilities it is well to establish an innovative health care delivery model that will incorporate interdisciplinary care delivery team. It is of a great advantage for healthcare facilities to incorporate a model that will engage interdisciplinary and inter professional teams to work together to achieve the mission and visons of such healthcare facilities. The inter-professional practice model is a model that will increase the health care facility’s efficiency. This will be advantageous model to patients, working as a team will result to better productivity and quality of health care services provided. The patient stands to gain a lot from this model since the services provided by the hospital’s team will be nothing less than quality health care. In other healthcare facilities, the inter professional model has still not be implemented, as a result nurses are overworked and the quality of health care services to patients is compromised (Bridges, Davidson, & Tomkowiak, 2011) .
Care delivery model is another innovative health care model that will benefit both the healthcare team and the patients. The model elevates the role, since nurses are the most overworked team in healthcare facility, the model transitions the role of nurses from caregivers to care integrators. This is advantageous approach to any patient as the model creates at least one new role for nurses. It elevates the RN role to offer one of the integrating care for patients. The care delivery model also emphasizes on taking an approach that is of team related to interdisciplinary care. This is by incorporating other professionals in the health care facility to work as a team to ensure provision of quality health care services. The care delivery model is an advantageous model for patients as it enables the workforce to shift and sharpen their focus on patients by engaging them in active engagements (Beatie, 2015) .
