The most coercing topic in this course is the importance of the creation of meaning during communication with people of a different cultural characteristic such as language. I learned that can create meaning from the information presented in a different mode of communication and use the information to perform an action, thus promoting the relationships with people of other cultural characteristics. The knowledge can be valuable in the work place because it will enable me to communicate with people of a different cultural characteristic such as race, nationality, or religious views to achieve a particular outcome such as an activity that requires group involvements ( Gudykunst, 2005) .
I learned the role of social media to be a major factor in promoting intercultural communication by increasing the level of involvement of people in exchanging ideas, interactions and development of interests in different cultures. I also learnt that social media could be effective in promoting the ability of someone else to understand a different language by learning the communication taking place between the participants in any communication process. The global digital social media policy in my job is that when one is using social media during interactions, one should not use it to disclose confidential information about the organization or promote use social media to communicate in a manner that causes loss of organizational reputation ( Gudykunst, 2005) .
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Other topics that could have contributed to more valuable information is the role of dialogue which involves examining the techniques in which people of different cultural characteristics engage in dialogue as a means of exchanging information ( Gudykunst, 2005) .
