The regime refers to an institution with substantive and clear rules operating within a particular geographical limit. The rules that govern the operation of people in society need to be agreed on by the government (Breitmeier, 2016). This information indicates that regime is a jurisdiction that has power and control over the environment, labor, and trade thus increasing the ability of people in the society to operate in a particular order and following a specific law in the nation. This concept forms the mean through which an institution forms, thus increasing the ability of the community to achieve the desired shapes of the society.

There is a significant difference between the international and domestic regime in a community. An international system is a global process and collection of rules that are formally organized and transforms a nongovernmental organization (Breitmeier, 2016). International regimes play an essential role in regulating, monitoring, and promoting domestic governments. Though global systems have an opportunity for transforming into nongovernmental organizations, they do not act as nongovernmental organizations. The focus of the international regime is to monitor and understand how world events affect activities at the global and the domestic level.

On the other hand, domestic regime operates within the boundaries of a nation, and they establish rules and regulations that affect and determine interactions with other people in society. For instance, the ruling party in any country needs to develop standards through which they monitor the communication of people and the government. For example, there may be a focus on issues such as democracy and human rights, thus determining the activities that people usually have regarding the functioning of the government and the society (Breitmeier, 2016). This information indicates that the international regime governs the interaction of people in the community by considering the operation of nations at the global level.
