The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is popularly referred to as ISIL or ISIS is a terrorist body that supports extremist guideline of Sunni Islam. ISIL was recognized internationally after it forced the Iraq state militaries out of central cities (Dudley, 2018). The UN has designated the group as a terrorist organization due to its involvement in video executions of soldiers, journalists, and aid workers. According to the press, the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia have been accused of funding ISIL (CNN Research, 2019).
