I had an opportunity to attend a mass procession of a Jewish Synagoguethat was held on Saturday morning at the neighboring synagogue. I chose the morning mass procession because through my research; this was the mass that had the highest attendance. I felt it was the best for my case since I hadthe interest to tap into all the information concerning the morning mass process, and compare it to that of Catholic or the Christianity that I belonged. I had a great experience from the gate to the time the mass procession at the synagogue came to an end.
Outside the building, I saw some police offices at the gate. Also, there were ushers outside the building directing the congregation inside and outside the building. There were large spaces outside the building where some people were sitting, and seemingly holding a discussion. Some offices and classrooms were also present in the environment. Big buildings and Judaica shop was also present though it was closed. I was part of the congregation that was ushered in the building by ushers. The Ushers greeted us with the use of the word "Shabbat Shalom." I was to realize later that the word meant a peaceful Sabbath. Prayer books were freely available, and those who had challenges, for instance, hearing or reading the books received assistance from the ushers. The clothingwas unique too. Mostly, a good percentage of the congregation wore business casual wears. Suits for men and dresses for ladies were also common at the synagogue.

In the sanctuary, there were a lot of pictures inscribed on the walls. They portrayed some individuals with names and date of birth also engraved. There was a raised stage from which theservice was conducted at the sanctuary. It had the following; there was an ark, and an eternal light located above the ark. Further, there was the podium from which the Bible was read, the spindle to hold the Bible, chars for those who sat at that stage, and flowers. During the services, there were instructors, for instance, those who led the songs and the prayers. Also, there were those who led the reading from different books of the Old Testament. The leaders were announcing the page numbers which we followed on our prayer books. There were large screens which displayed the reading that was in the prayer books. Throughout the prayer process, the leaders directed the congregation on when to sit, when to stand, when to bow and when to bend. An outstanding process was the Torah services or the Reading from the Torah. Songs and dance accompanied it. There were specific actions during this stage which highlighted the impotence of the Torah to this brand of religion.
The teachings and practices during this religious process were mostly similar to that of Catholic and other Christian doctrines. For instance, the dressing code was primarily identical to Christian's way of dressing for the mass occasion. The importance of the Bible mostly during the Catholic mass procession is similar to that of Torah procession in Jewish Synagogue. Like for most of the Christian mass practices, songs and dance, movements, bending and bowing are part of the mass process for both denominations. In both cases, some leaders are a task with directing the mass. The inscription of pictures on the walls is also seen in most Christian churches such as the Catholic Church. Lastly, just like Christian churches where discussion and teaching are sometimes incorporated within the compound, synagogue are also teaching institutions and schools are generally present within the compound.
