Homeschooled American teens in Corvallis, Oregon had done the end year exams, and they had plans for that holiday to go on an adventure at the nearest forest. This holiday would not only be a chance to reduce the so much tension caused by the exams, but also give them an adventure of their life. Jimmy and Jack were too anxious for this moment. They were assigned the duty to lead the group of seven students in a hunting experience. They had been planning for it for far too long, and alas! The day of the days came. Everyone was getting busy preparing for the adventure, with every essential tool packed. Jack pleaded with his parents to be allowed to carry Tommy, his dog. The Jamison Village was a few miles away from the jungle. The young teens departed at around 4 am.
They went deep down the forest passing through narrow paths and valleys. They came across some valleys that had large puddles formed by the dissolving snow. Jack was particularly awed by the complexion of the exquisite view that the valley portrayed. They walked through spiral course wood and at around noon, every step they took got them more buried away from the town. The environment was too green and slimy moss covering every pity part of the ground. Nature seemed quite astounding all along: from the feeling of the fresh smell of the green plants to the atmosphere of the furry trees that scrubbed their skin. Surprisingly, the past exams were hardly discussed.

The natural at the forest was so sensual. Jimmy proposed a game that the teens were very much fond of, Frisbee. The game was getting more exciting and fun that they almost forgot that they were on a hunt. Jack, who seemed concerned about the hunt more than anything, suddenly came out of the bush running and calling everyone’s attention. “You have to see this! I heard some moves,” He said as he trembled with excitement. “I think it’s a deer. I heard Tommy barking, and then I followed. I saw it guys, come and check it out!” They gathered the necessary hunting tools.
As the drew closer to the forest, screeches were heard from a distant. Tommy was getting intense and kept on barking uncontrollably. Jack made the dog calm. They went on searching and carefully inspecting the bush, with their ears open. The chirping of birds cleared the tension that filled the air. Their hopes were almost dying when, suddenly, out of the bushes emerged a gigantic man.
Behold, stood a man, six feet tall wearing a long beaver hat. He seemed somewhat surprised at seeing the young teens. “What are you doing here kids?” He asked with a thunderous voice as he drew close. He stood aghast, with his hunting rifle on his shoulder. The young teens were trembling profusely. He was about to say something when barks were hard from a near distance. He took off as fast as lightning towards where the barks came from. The hunting dogs were on their chasing mood, acting like the heroes from the far east part of the country. The right time came when the antelope popped through the narrow path and moving through the cornfield at the highest speed. The shooter lost the courage he had before and pulled the trigger. Lucky enough he managed to take the prey. They all run towards the point the prey lied.
This moment was a thrilling experience for the teens. The hunter introduced himself as Mr. Cromwell. He seemed very proficient at hunting. He asked for their help to move the prey to his homestead, a few meters from the scene. Jimmy was the most astounded of the rest. Mr. Cromwell taught them various hunting skills as they feasted on roasted meat. Before 6 pm, the teens embarked on a journey back home. Days have passed since this experience, and this memory still is worth keeping. Jimmy and Jack still narrate it to their friends.
