This is an inspiring article that appears to depict the essence of enhancing ethical leadership, particularly in politics and business. Evidently, Huntsman is believed to be a leader of massive integrity. For instance, in one of his works, Winners Never Cheat which was published in 2005 denotes that in as much as bribery is believed to provide a temporary advantage, it ends up cheapening the manner in which business is operated (America, F. 0. n.d.). This is through enriching the few corrupt persons. Therefore, this article is a reflection of how Huntsman combined honesty with kindheartedness and warmth. Moreover, it points out the need to formulate a global strategy for business and understand ways of executing it with agility and speed since it will enhance better customer services. This article focuses on extending our knowledge about the legacy that was left behind by Mr. Huntsman. In that, Huntsman desired to leave this universe a broke man as opposed to departing this world with a large bank account. Evidently, he is portrayed as a philanthropist since give away large amounts of money for the well-being of humanity.

Should We Trust The Moral Compass Of Machines?

This article intends to create awareness on the issue of having trust on the advanced machines that are being introduced into the mainstream market. Some of the questions being raised in this work entail the machine’s lack of empathy and the capability of the device doing the right thing as well as how to judge and correct the tools which are made of silicon and steel. Therefore, the ethical decision of making use of these machines rests in the human hands. Nonetheless, while deciding to apply these devices in our lives, it is essential to take note of elements such as security transparency in building the first artificial general intelligence that will have moral implications in the society (Ramaswamy, 2016). In as much various questions need to be addressed before trusting the implementation of the artificial intelligence, there is a sect of people who are excited about the whole discovery. In that, the program will without a doubt solve the issue of gender and race which are primary sources of discrimination in our society.

Video: Can Torture Ever Be Justified?

The video’s objective is to address the issue of using persons as a means of attaining specific objectives as opposed to respecting their value of life as human beings despite them being criminals. It holds that torture should never be accepted under any settings irrespective of what the effects might be. The critical point that can be derived from the video is that the value of human beings is something intrinsic and democratic states should uphold the human rights and equality to all (Harvard University, 2011). For instance, the video provides the case of Mr. Gafgen who kidnapped and killed an innocent child. As a result, Mr. Gafgen was arrested and interrogated, but he refused to disclose the whereabouts of the child. Therefore, since the law enforcement were hoping to save the life of the boy, they opted to torture the kidnapper which he eventually complied and disclosed where the hidden dead body of the child was. Due to this inhuman act, the kidnapper was sentenced to a lifetime while the deputy of police was charged with violating the rights of Mr. Gafgen. Thus, the action of torturing an innocent or guilty person can never be justified since it is something believed to be barbaric and inhuman.
