Larry King's legacy is on revolutionizing the field of broadcasting. He has received numerous accolades due to excellence in radio and television broadcast. His legacy is relevant today because his achievements have set a bar for modern journalists who have the mandate to educate the citizens through creative and engaging shows such as those done by Larry King.

What made Larry King special and different from most journalists was his direct, non-confrontational style during interviewing. He asked easy questions which were mostly open ended which were easier and friendly to answer for most of his guests. Piers Morgan tried to replace him in the CNN TV show, but the show was canceled due to poor ratings.

To conclude, Larry King is an embodiment of how positive journalism can influence the society positively through information. He is a role model to upcoming professionals who would wish to be as successful as he was in his accolade-laden career (Zelizer & Tenenboim-Weinblatt, 2014).
