As a leader I should be able to meet the demands of all stakeholders in my area of leadership by having a personal plan for the prioritization, communication, and execution of activities. It is important to prioritize stakeholders by assessing their claims to the general organization. Priority needs to be given to stakeholders who hold significant claims to the organization. The leader should balance the claims and avoid favoring certain stakeholders as opposed to others. However, factors such as time and resource limitations will compel me to set priorities to claims as they present themselves each week.
First and foremost, I need to formalize personal priorities by determining where I can have the most impact for the organization and for my team. This is where I will put much effort in terms of time, attention, and energy. I will do this by setting measurable goals through speeches, social media, and articles. Additionally, I will find ways and means of assessing change and progress and change course when necessary. I will also involve my team in formulating the priorities to bring consensus and increase chances of succeeding.

I will also devise a way of communicating my strategies to team members to ensure progress. The best way of doing this is to communicate your plans externally to key stakeholders in and outside the organization. The main intention of doing this is to make stakeholders buy into your ideas. I would need to set a limited number of clear priorities which will make it easier to attain effectiveness. There needs to be a concise explanation with regards to the priorities set. This will give your team and other stakeholders an insight of what you plan for the organization. The explanation should incorporate how the priorities are to be achieved, why they matter, how they are to be measured, and the duration of time they are to be achieved.
I will also devise a way of executing the list of priorities formulated. To ensure success, it is good to concentrate on executing the job faster rather than depending on the quality of the list. It is important to accelerate the rate at which priorities are executed son as to improve the performance of the organization. I will help my team to see the most important actions to be implemented which have the greatest impact on other priorities. This will ensure that I execute my priorities demanded of me on time.
