There is a tremendous relationship between legality, social responsibility, morality, and ethics. The four elements direct on how individuals should behave for their good and those in their surroundings. The virtues are used to show how people are supposed to act socially and how they are expected to deal with situations affecting them or their societies. If people's behaviors are not controlled, there would be no harmony as people would be doing things haphazardly for their selfish gains. Therefore, it is required that each set has their kind of behaviors that align to their code of conduct. Despite the similarities, this paper will highlight the differences between the four disciplines.

Firstly, legality refers to observing what is right according to the law. Each country has a set of laws and rules that should be followed by its citizens. Other settings such as institutions and organizations have set their legislation to be followed by those who occupy them. Just like the laws are different from one country to another, the other settings also have their own unique set of laws. If one acts contrary to what is in the law, then there is a stipulated punishment that one who breaks the law suffers. Residents in such settings are thus forced to act according to the law to avoid being prosecuted or punished. Acting under the same law ensures that behavior is coordinated for cohesion and peaceful coexistence.

Molarity is basically what humans perceive as right or wrong in their actions or thoughts. Different societies have their moral values that everyone in their surrounding is supposed to follow them to be considered moral. Contrary to legality which forces one to act according to the law, molarity is optional, and one may opt to have their different way of doing things. Also, one does not get punished for not being moral unlike when one breaks the law. Morality assists in developing healthy relationships between people and its absence may lead to the breakage of such relationships.

The social responsibility framework argues that people should act for the benefit of society as a whole. Social responsibility discourages self-centeredness and promotes the right of all in all doings. People are encouraged to have a balance between actions that benefit them and those that benefit the ecosystem. Organizations and businesses may set up a code of conduct for their employees that direct them to serve their societies with the utmost expertise for its growth. Vices such as corruption and inequality are discouraged. There may not be a persecution for those who are not socially responsible, but the societies they serve have the right to complain and demand change.

Lastly, ethics includes the morals and the values that a person, organization or community have. Ethics also refers to the best human character that prevents harm to other people. Different situations and settings have a different kind of ethics. For instance, there are a set of standards for health workers in a health facility. Such standards protect the rights of both the health worker and the patients. Regardless of what a person considers as right or wrong, they have to act according to the required ethics in a setting. Unlike breaking the law that is often noticed, being unethical usually goes unnoticed or people don't usually take the necessary actions to the dishonest people. Unlike social responsibility that focuses on the benefit of the whole society, ethics may be designed for the good of an individual.
