Tourism refers to the act commercially organizing people for the operations of the holiday as well as visits to the places that interest a person. Tourists are the participants of tourism. The main aim of touring places is leisure, entertainment and business purposes. During that time, a person has many activities that he or she can choose to do. People make decisions on the kind of activity that they wish to do during their leisure time on the different basis. For instance, someone may go for an activity that will earn them an extra coin. Similarly, there will be a person who will be interested in doing an activity that will keep him or her entertained. In other cases, someone can select to do an activity that will keep them physically fit. An example is sports.
Sports are directly connected to leisure and recreation, but their relationship with tourism and parks is not direct as such. The relationship with the leisure is direct in the sense that most people will only do sports during leisure for recreation or to entertain themselves. Sporting is a form of recreation. However, the indirect relationship between sports and parks or tourism is not direct, and none depends on the other directly. Rather, they are all activities that can be undertaken during the leisure time.
Recreation calls for the people seeking for entertainment, enjoyment or fitness. Therefore, it relates to both sports and leisure. People with such needs have many activities that they may choose to undertake as a form of recreation. This includes going to the parks, touring, or even conducting some sporting activities based on their tastes. Recreation cannot be recreation without sporting activities for some people. Some people will choose to just remain at home if they are not given opportunities of participating in their favorite game. Equally, some people tour long distances to go and see their favorite sport when it is played live. There are simple games that can be played in parks, indicating that parks can support entertainment activities. Therefore, each of the five activities has a direct relationship with one another.

Leisure. An example of a leisure activity is swimming. Another example of a leisure activity is traveling. Leisure is defined as the activity that a person chooses to do freely whenever they are free from their everyday commitments. For those who choose to do swimming for leisure, they will be engaging in the form of recreation that is a sporting activity as well. There places where swimming pools have been built in parks. Therefore, the lovers of swimming will occasionally visit such parks because it supports their leisure activity. Tourists like spending time in such places like parks as well. Therefore, tourism has significance to sports, recreation, parks, and tourism.
Recreation. Horse riding and skiing are some popular examples of recreational activities. These activities are not only forms of entertainment to many, but they are also huge attractions for the tourists. While some people do sporting for leisure, there are those who do them for a career. Either way, both of the categories attract huge masses to come and watch them do their various recreational activities. People visiting places for entertainment are usually tourists. Parks are usually required in supporting the various recreational activities. For instance, skating is usually trained and practiced in parks that have concrete floors.
Sports. An example of a sport is football. Football is popular and widely known across the entire globe. Indeed, most of the people are lovers of football. People travel across regions and across continents to go and watch football. The main purpose of such people is usually to get entertained as fans. There are others who love playing football at their leisure for such reasons like keeping fit and entertainment. Young children may do such games in parks. Besides, community building programs may organize teams within their locality and visit the approved parks to hold some football. Therefore, sporting can be seen to an important role in relating to tourism, parks, leisure, and recreation.
Parks. Examples of parks are grounds that governments set aside for people to entertain themselves during their leisure. A park is built in such a way that it can support activities of entertainment and recreation among others. People usually tend to go to the parks during their leisure time for recreational purposes. Among the activities that they can do other than sitting back to relax include sporting. They can play tennis, or maybe find such activities like boat riding and swings. Tourists love enjoyment in these activities. They will tend to visit the parks for relaxation after long hours of travel. In other cases, they may just stop over to engage in the activities taking place if they love doing such activities.
Tourism. Tourism, from touring, involves visitation of places with different aims. In most of the time, a tourist has heard of a place or activity, and he or she would like to go and see the good thing that was said about that place. In other cases, there are activities such as horse riding that they have heard about in the past and they developed an interest to go and see or ride the horses themselves. To tour, one requires having free time, called leisure. One can tour to go and get entertained by a sporting activity that they love most such as car racing or horse riding. Besides, the reason for touring a place could be to see a rare species of wildlife that has been enclosed in a park. Altogether, touring is usually related to sports, leisure, tourism, recreation, and parks.

Understanding each of the principles has a great contribution to my understanding of the industry. The information relating to the concepts of sports, leisure, tourism, recreational and parks have enabled me in acquiring a broad picture regarding how these aspects interrelate. Such information and knowledge can be used in advising government, or other private developers who are willing to invest in one of these areas on the appropriate approach they may give to their idea. It will be important to advise such persons or organizations to consider the most potent aspect among the five of them based on the specific location where they are willing to place the facility. The second information will be to advise such a person to consider space that will facilitate expansion in the future. Such expansion should be aimed at incorporating most of the other significant components to create a system that will inter-relate and interdepend with one another most efficiently.
The knowledge that has been acquired has also expounded my mind that I feel the urge to learn the aspects that will suit any of the given concepts in a particular area based on the demography of the area. In any case, resources appear to be the greatest factor that might influence a person or an organization while choosing the type of facility they would wish to set up. Altogether, the facility should serve the purpose intended. These forms of information acquired will be highly essential in the future application. The information has also helped me acquire a clear picture of the entire field that I can decide on the line that I will major. At the same time, I will have information regarding operations in all the others areas.
