Construction plan
This was a very challenging activity because it requires one to come up with appropriate resources to be used during the construction. The technology to be used was the most challenging plan because of the changes in technology and a wide range of innovations. However, through consulting an appropriate architect, I managed to pull through. Taking a look at the construction budget, all the resources were available, but the only problem was delivering of all the resources, which resulted in demanding for more time. The lesson learned from the construction plan is to ensure that all the resources are assembled to ease the construction process (Small, Morss & Fridriksson, 2018) .
Project schedule
As a manager, coming up with the project schedule is important because it determines the onset of the project and the expected time of completion. The project schedule guides the whole construction process. The challenge encountered during this process was matching the workforce and the activity to be carried out; this is where expertise is assigned to the appropriate task. The lesson learned is about timing and precision to ensure that the project is completed in the scheduled time.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Monitoring and control process
This is the most challenging part in construction because it requires time and attention on the project. Conflicts occur when there is disagreement among the workforce and the management, but I was able to handle it. Controlling is also challenging because the project must be completed with the estimated budget and this requires appropriate resource utilization (Nelson, 2005) .
Conclusion
Construction is a process that requires proper planning, implementation, monitoring and control processes. Successful construction project sticks to the plan and ensures that resources are utilized appropriately as per the budget. Also as a manager, I discovered the importance of having a team of expertise who will help in the implementation process. Therefore it is important to take into consideration the qualifications of all the staff who will be involved in the construction process. This will eliminate errors that occur due to incompetency.
