The document is a letter authored by Adolf Hitler and sends to Mussolini updating him of how the war against the Russian has gone and the kind of preparation which are in place to ensure that the war is won. This is a highly confidential militant letter between two dictators after they attacked Russia. Based on the militant terms which are used in the letter, it is confident to states that the author of this letter is well vast in the military field. The letter is addressed to a fellow militant and dictator by the name Duce as he constantly refers to him in the letter. This is a German military leader and is well conversant with the kind of military terms and military operations and strategies which Hitler uses in this letter.

This is an English Language translation of a letter which was written by Hitler to Mussolini. The main topic of the letter is a recount of a kind of decisive victory which was claimed by the German invasion of great Russia. The letter is basically on the strategies which should be put in place by the two dictators, to ensure that any attempt to secure help from other outsiders. For instance, British are countered and prevented and if any succeed, the strategies to attack or neutralized the helpers such as the British are in place to ensure that the victory is claimed. What is noted in the letter is that Hitler is extremely confident that the power and the victory are already in their hands. To him, what is necessary at this point is to ensure that interferences from other countries such as British and USA are reduced by launching strategies to counter their ideas even before they start an attack on the German. He sees the German military situation as impregnable and considers the war, although not yet finished, already won.

The reason for writing this letter is varied. The first reason is to inform Mussolini the state of the war between the German and Russia. The second reason is to inform him of the impending threat of other countries such as British, USA, and others which may try to extend a hand of help to the Russians. The third reason is to inform him of the strategies which should be done in order to win over these helpers and to maintain the status quo. Lastly, the reason for writing the letter is to strengthen Mussolini and his troops to continue with the strong feelings, preparation, and strategies to ensure that the victory which is already claimed as per him, is stamped. This is a military letter based on the types of words which are used. The letter is from a military head to another, and this is the reason why the keywords of the letter are an attack on Russia, German air force, Italian air force, tenth air Corps and Military strategies. Another reason why this document is considered military strategy letter is the kind of the strategies which are presented by the author and attempt to explain to the audience the strategies which should be in place to win the war on the British in case they try to land in their territories.

In this letter, there are different assumptions which the author considers as he tries to jot down the letter. The first assumption is that the receiver or the audience of the letter understand the military terms which are constantly used in the letter. The letter is purely written in the military terms, and it would be very difficult for any person who has limited knowledge on the military field to have a deeper understanding unless they research these terms. Hitler knows that his fellow dictator has a deeper understanding and knowledge of these terms and thus constantly uses them in the letter. The author also assumes that the audience is well aware of the strategies which can be used to help in neutralizing the enemies. This is seen where he outlines the strategies and makes less explanation, as opposed to other places where he gives full details of the is supposed to take place. Lastly, the author hopes that the receiver of the letter also has other military strategies which can be exploited to help in winning this war. This is seen in many instances where he gives suggestions on strategies which can be used, allowing room for any other suggestion from the receiver. All in all, the author assumes that based on the direction the war has taken and from the military point of view, the war has been won.

It is very difficult to believe whether the article is credible or not. The credibility of documents is based on the author’s level of education, the print source and the date when the article was printed with other fine details. On this article, most of these details are omitted and thus making it very difficult to conclude if the article is fully credible. However, there are some facts which can be used to show that the article is credible. First, the printing source of the article is Nuremberg, Germany: International Military Tribunal, 1941-10-28 and this is a fact which can be used to suggest that the article is credible. Also, the author's name and knowledge of the military field. Hitler is well known in the History of dictators. Though he is not known as an author, his military background may suggest that he knew to write a military document. Based on this arguments, it is clear that the article is credible.

The letter clearly indicates exactly where the author comes from. It was a society which spoke the language of war. There was a war between the Russian and German soldiers. However, the style of military armaments and strategies which are drawn shows this was a society which was mostly dominated by war and violence with each militant side trying to outdo another one. This document is historic, and it documents the kind of strategies which the German put in place to dominate the Russians. It also shows the kind of dictatorship the two leaders’ practices in Russia; They went to the extent that they could not even allow other countries to help Russians win the war. To me, this article is of interest since it documents the history of two of the world dictators and their quest for power. This kind of power anger is still witnessed even today in most countries in the world. I intended to use the article to show that dictatorship strategies that were used by Hitler and his friend are still in existence in most countries in the world.
