The disputes were brewed when two most antagonist chose two different lines, Maine remained Free states as Missouri admitted being known slave states.

The congress house fueled war when it voted to prohibit slavery in the territory of Louisiana, north of the latitude line of 36 degrees.

It fueled disagreement from both the northerners and southerners

Heavy compromise of 1850

The admission of the states of California as a free state from slavery enhances further disputes between southerners and northerners since the southerners knew that California was on their side supporting slavery.

Fugitive slave law also played a huge part in enhancing civil war in America.

This slave law under the penalty of law code demanded that those slaves who had run away from their southerner’s masters and went to seek refuge from the Northerner's masters be returned to their southerner’s masters, a request which was declined by most of the northerner’s masters.

Kansas-Nebraska Act which was majorly based on the confusion on the language which was used between northerners and southerners with regards to slavery in the USA.

This act played a significant role in undermining the Missouri compromise of the year 1820 and also contributed largely to undermining the compromise of 1850.

The Kansas-Nebraska was renamed bleeding Kansas as result of the constant and persistent fight which was witnessed between those who supported the idea of slavery in their territory and the country and those who were against the issues of slavery in their territory and the country.

As result of the constant fight and the Kansas Nebraska Act, the product of all the mess was the Republican Party creation which further intensified the rift between the pro and anti-slavery in the USA.
