If the allegations by the lawyer are true, they should have taken time to assess his reasons. A proper assessment would ensure that the company is not doing the wrong thing by firing the lawyer. This course of action would have saved the company a lawsuit while allowing the lawyer to understand the reason for being fired.
Non-Compete Agreements
Noncompete agreements prescribe that one party should not enter into a profession or trade that poses competition to the other party. These agreements are usually between an employee and employer. Non-compete agreements should not be legal because they confine an employee in a single position. Every employee wants to grow in their career, therefore, these agreements act as hindrances to this goal. According to every law, equality is an important factor in legalizing certain statues, laws, and regulations. I feel that noncompete agreements do not consider the job seeking individual. Most people, if are aware of the legality under these agreements, would not take the job. It is not also considerate for employers to expect their employees not to take better jobs especially in an industry they are conversant with.
