Making Sense Out of Spirituality is book written by Cliff Sanders. This book introduces God in a marvelous way. Sanders provides information about the misconception people have about God and reveals the truth about God who created us, loves us, and wants to have a relationship with us than we realize. People have formed different understandings about God and spiritual aspects, which most of it does not make senses according to the scripture or the bible. Lack of understanding has resulted in various misconceptions that have impacted negatively on the beliefs and ability of a person to seek and trust in God, and understand who he is as well as his origin.

I have learnt that God has always been looking for people but people have not always been seeking Him and His love. However, in the contemporary society, many people are seeking to know God by engaging in desperate and honest search for God. God wants us to trust Him in all situations especially in those that do not make sense in our natural human minds. Having trust in Him allows everything in the life of an individual to work or their good and glory of God.

While reading the book, it was evident that spirituality is a sensitive topic that generate numerous strong opinions, emotional wounds, and intellectual arguments. There is nothing more important in our life than understanding of spirituality. Understanding spirituality has great impact on our lives and this is the main reason why we should embark on exploring the journey. Personal spirituality influences us in several lives either consciously or subconsciously and influences our understanding of God. It is important for individuals to have self-awareness about their spiritual aspect that helps to build a strong spiritual foundation with God. This would allow us to identify and resolve the main problem between them and God and reconstruct a healthy, truthful view of God.
