Hygiene is one virtue that many people would love to associate themselves with because it speaks a lot about oneself even before they introduce themselves to others, which clearly explains the phrase ‘first impressions counts.’ Your surroundings affect everything within oneself including the state of mind and the moods. For instance, a person who is in a clean environment for example, the home is likely to be happy, jovial, and organized rather than a person who is not, hence the ability to keep and maintain a clean surrounding is paramount to an individual’s performance. With the high demand of clean homes and offices a cleaning service is just what we need especially for big homes and offices, and the busy schedules that people have that affects the ability to do proper cleaning. Therefore, we shall have a look at the situational analysis of a marketing plan for the cleaning service we offer, the internal and external factors affecting it and our strengths that makes us stand out from other cleaning service providers.
Factors affecting our cleaning marketing plan
Internal Factors
These factors are the ones that keep us on the top notch from our competitors
Professionalism: The fact that our work is not a ‘white collar’ job does not mean we have to ignore the essence of being professional. Some of our approaches to this include; hiring and maintaining a clean, presentable and enthusiastic crew, who are passionate and diligent at what they do. Our uniforms help in identification of who we are, this is because of the company information printed on them for example, the name, logo and contacts. We make sure that our crew is well trained to maintain better services for our clients. Apart from the cleaning team, our crew is also made up of other team members who are responsible for the administrative duties and they make sure our catalogues, invoice, receipts and all form of documents are well presented to the clients and they do follow ups ( Arlette, 2016). Others work under sales and they make sure that our company is well marketed.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Up to date Equipment: The ability to purchase the most recent equipment ensures that we work on time and give nothing but the best service ever provided. New equipment that is up to date is essential in that they are more convenient in helping to give a sparkle than traditional equipment that most clients own in their homes and offices. Industrial strength cleaning chemicals, vacuum cleaners, and carpet steamers are just but a few of the cleaning equipment we have ( House Cleaning Services (2014).
Customer Service/Care: Our main goal is to make sure that our clients are satisfied by our service provision. In addition to this, we ensure that the relationship between our clients and the company is well maintained. We make sure that follow ups are done to keep track of our clients’ needs. A subsidized price is allocated to loyal customers and also at times we offer them some of our cleaning products for sampling that they could be using until the next time we are called for cleaning.
External Factors
These are factors and conditions that in most cases we have no control over but must be adhered to in order to ensure our business still stands out and earns profit.
Economy: The state of the economy does affect our business in a very great way. For instance, many people may consider cleaning service as a luxury and hence may want to find alternatives of keeping their homes and offices spotless (The staff of Entrepreneur Media Inc.2014). The idea of spending money on a cleaning service may be an extra cost in an inflated economy where every coin spent counts. On the other hand, as a company we may consider purchasing more affordable cleaning products without compromising the quality. Other items would have to be recycled to cut costs and make sure our profits are not negatively affected.
Competition & Knowledge: This industry is bombarded by many other service providers and hence the ability to find, manage and maintain clients is vital. For this reason we try our best to make sure we do not offer the same service as our competitors (Teece, 2016).One of the ways we ensure that our competitors do not beat us is by training our crew occasionally and keeping up to date with the knowledge we need in cleaning, safety, right product use and any other knowledge that will be of help to us and our clients. We try to give solutions to our customer needs.
Population: Another important element for the profitability of our company. According to McDonald Payne, & Frow (2011), and his colleagues, in the book ‘Marketing Plans for Services,’ they state that “the power for buyers might be increasing or decreasing and it is important for the company to understand what forces are at play or this to be happening.”
Conclusion
Any business needs a strategy in order to stay relevant, give nothing but the best and earn profits for growth and development, therefore the mentioned elements and factors are just but a few of what is needed and expected from a cleaning company. Quality is the best element in service provision.
