John Hopkins is a brand name for a medical institution that offers a serene and tranquil milieu for clinical care, medical training and research. The institution offers several variety of clinical care which includes; dental care, elderly care programs, mental health services, maternal managed care among other specialized programs (Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2014) . 

A marketing plan reviews the organization broad long-term goals and the specific marketing objectives and then structures specific steps that needs to be followed to attain the highlighted goals (Lloyd, 2017) . In this regard and in conjunction with the company’s objectives, the marketing strategies will include; enhancing the competence of the management to increase the quality of medical care. Methods such as restructuring the management system, training and hiring more experienced staff and adopting new and effective managerial systems that ensures that bureaucracies, malpractices and negligence are not practiced within the institution. This strategy will increase the confidence of casualties in their attending nurses thus maintaining positive public relations (Tanner, 2013) .

Also, the business to adopt an effective marketing mix which includes; product, promotion, pricing and place. Such techniques include offering free clinics, guidance, counselling and testing of some diseases, waiver of long term debts and bad debts, enhancing the quality of Medicare, providing a variety of medical delivery options both at the hospital and for mobile systems, effective pricing models and reliable product promotion methods such as free gifts and free services (Lloyd, 2017) . Promotion campaigns can also be carried within and outside United States telling the public on their position about quality human healthcare (Tanner, 2013) . 

Another important strategy is by enhancing the security of medical facilities and patients. Access to areas such as maternity should be restricted only to authorized people and entry password protected to enhance the security of casualties and protect people and children from kidnapping (Lloyd, 2017) . In this manner, patients will have confidence in the institution since they safety is guaranteed. 

The current marketing strategy of John Hopkins is an internet marketing promotion known as web strategy. The strategy is aimed at reaching both internal and external customers through digital media, internet video platforms, editorial services and online marketing (Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2014) . This differs from the strategy highlighted above. 

The John Hopkins provides quality patient care and provides a platform for both qualitative and quantitative medical research thus helping to bring about quality medical reaction, enhancing medical awareness and producing medical geniuses (Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2014) . 

Consumers 

The institution offers a variety of healthcare options ranging from healthcare system, payment models, alternative care models, add-on products, wellness plans and coverage for proposals. Payment models include: contribution plans, consumer driven plans, medical savings plan and flexible spending plans; alternative care models include: boutique care, E-medicine, healthcare consultants and complimentary medicine. Add-on products include: long term care, medication coverage, disease management programs and catastrophic illness (Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2014) . Different healthcare options will fit in a different model of advertisement for instance E-medicine is broadcasted online and casualties allowed to participate in online platforms. 

The healthcare has an established communication mechanism where information is relayed to consumers and a specialized feedback mechanism where casualties communicate back. The customer care service has a specialized online communication system that enables information flow and a team of technicians that act on the data. Also, there exist a physical communication system provided by a suggestion box where consumers can drop suggestions for services offered (Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2014) . 

Various departments and service units such as pharmacy and customer care report necessary information that needs to be imparted to the communication specialist who transform the information that can be understood by the general public and uses the appropriate medium of delivery. However, the communication mediums available do not dissipate the information to 100 percent of the intended audience. Barriers such as illiteracy levels and medium disadvantages hinders effective communication (Lloyd, 2017) . 

Impact of Outside Agencies 

All the marketing strategies must be in line with the laws and regulations set by the government. Therefore, the institution’s extent of marketing strategy is guided by the regulations put in place by the relevant authorities and module for medical practice (Tanner, 2013) . 

Impact of Regulations 

The healthcare reforms suggested are aimed at improving service deliver and quality of products, increasing the market base, attracting prospect customers and maintain the performance of the institution amid tough competition. In this regard therefore, if the aforementioned strategies are actualized then the institution will be able to improve the quality of products and service delivery thus increase market base and increase customer confidence on their attending nurses (Lloyd, 2017) . 

Anticipating the Changing Market 

People are becoming more concerned about their health, kids and the society in entirety and thus the demand of healthcare has continually increased. Every year, more medical care options keep on emerging so that people are provided with the care they need. Thus, the demand of healthcare is continually increasing and the need for more options of medical care is certain. The communication medical team will always stay in touch with the consumers, conducting research about the broad consumer needs which will enable the institution enact policies that satisfy those needs at that time (Lloyd, 2017) . Thus, the changing demand is countered by respective offers. 

Importance of Marketing Strategy 

A marketing strategy outlines the marketing goals and provides vivid steps and techniques that can be used by the organization to achieve its objectives without doing a mistake.it important to factor in all entities so that all activities carried by the marketing department is in harmony with all other units for uniformity, coordination and effectiveness. Besides, a strategy gives a focal reference from which various marketing methodologies can be evaluated and implicated (Tanner, 2013) .
