I agree with the idea because, in a military camp, many activities are taking the place of crucial importance is the health care condition of the soldiers. The operation of medical logistics is towards the provision of care and making a follow up for the well-being of the military personnel. There are ten medical functions in the military Army Health System (AHS) (Army, 2020). It will be easy to integrate all the tasks through the use of medical logistics. Whether the soldiers are on the battlefield or the camps, they still need medical care. The is not centered towards only the physical injuries that they have from battles but also the psychological ad metal care. Medical logistics create an environment where everyone will know the role they have to play in the army for the well-being of others.
The discussion post suggests that medical logistics ensures that all the equipment’s needed to take care of the soldiers are readily available. I agree with the opinion as medical logistics is a holistic entity. Provision of care to the soldiers is an entity on its own and availing the resources is another entity. Medical logistics integrate the two entities and ensure that those in need of medical care are taken care of using the most effective and efficient equipment’s (Headquarters, 2013). There is a need to have a structure for the medical logistics to show the integration of all the components that can make it successful. From the network, every individual will be aware of the contribution that has in ensuring there is the achievement of the medical aims and objectives in the army.
