The book focuses on Christianity and mission or their main responsibilities in their Christian lives. Chapter five focuses on the notion of sharing and loving your neighbor as you love yourself. The chapter is the foundation of the main responsibilities of a Christian as it communicates the notion that most people believe that the as Christians their mandate is to only love God with all their strengths but following the question to Jesus Christ on the greatest commandments, the second most important and greatest commandment was loving your neighbor as one loves himself. The chapter portrays that when Christians know their mission, they are willing to serve and unite with others so as to discover God together. “ As a result everyone is invited to be part of what God is doing in and for the community, and new opportunities sprout for the coming of God’s kingdom .” p.67.

Chapter six discusses the notion of missional communities, from their beginning and their running. It defines the responsibilities of the mission disciples who are guided by the Holy Spirit. Christians just as the disciples of Christs are mandated to undertake the mission of spreading the word of God and take over the reign of God on earth that is acting in compassion and mercy. Koinonia as described in the New Testament is a missional community that combats cultural norms and sharing life together through all their duties and responsibilities in life p.75. It is clear from the other chapters that mission disciples believe that through their vocations they are serving God’s mission or are contributing towards building the kingdom of God. That is, lawyers, farmers, or doctors, among other professions believe that their vocations are sent from heaven and they should use their vocations, talents and skills towards enforcing and contributing to God’s work. According to priesthood of all believers, the emphasis of on the body of Christ… the guidelines and equipping the community of believers”p.77, is important in ensuring the strength of believers that is worth more than the number or members of believers in the missional community.
