Morality, Marriage, and Human Sexuality

Question One 

While private aspects of sexuality revolve around personal views of sexually related activities such as the physical, emotional, and sexual feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and attractions for other people, public aspects focus on sexuality ramifications, including societal boundaries on sexuality such as the devaluation of sex outside wedlock. The distinction is essential when studying morality, marriage, and sexuality because it explains why some people do not participate in specific sexual activities, yet their society probably accepts them. 

Question Two 

Although it could be a trite and offensive analogy, it's unusual to buy a car without testing. Premarital sex makes people settle in marriage by knowing sex all the same with other people. Besides, premarital sex enables people to learn satisfactory ways of having sex, which is a requirement for a successful marriage. The disadvantages of premarital sex include slowing self-esteem and self-worth, destruction of behaviors, loss of concentration on the relevant things at that time, and lowering performance, which may cause lifetime conflicts in future marriage, and may ruin the future through STDs. 

Question Three 

The aspect of marriage is what brings the difference between marriage-type relationships and other human relationships. The purposes of this marriage aspect are numerous, including to have a favorite person for eternity and to meet one's social, religious, and family expectations. These purposes shape the type of marriage that an individual enters; for example, having a favorite person, monogamy marriage would be the best choice. 

Question Four 

Homosexuality is compatible with the institution. Same-sex begins with equality, purity, and simplicity, which is a strong argument for the foundation of equal rights. The justification of same-sex is that it does no damage institutions but somewhat improves them. The marriage issue is based on semantic considerations; hence it is ironic to claim marriage as a man and woman activity. 

Question Five 

Sex without mutual consent violates the individual's inherent worth and dignity. The Bible condemns it. An adult has informed consent in making a decision, and choosing who to marry requires full disclosure from pleasures. Adultery is a two-fold moral problem since it involves deceit and violates the understanding of moral fidelity for marriage. 

Question Six 

Masturbation is immoral because the individual portrays unconcerned with the moral principles of right or wrong. Masturbation violates the principle purpose for sex; sex is meant to express love between married couples. Biblically, love is not selfish. On the contrary, masturbation is temporary selfish relief that leads to emptiness and shame. In relationships, masturbation has caused negative impacts between spouses, such as lost sexual urge, erectile dysfunctions, and premature ejaculations. 

Question Seven 

Pornography is the portrayal of sexual material to enhance sexual experiences and arousal. Pornography could have several positive impacts, such as growing one's experience on satisfying sexual relations, but it's often abused, leading to behavioral destruction. Pornographic materials include naked photographs and videos in magazines, books, films, and games because they are often portrayed in this literature and activities to lure users sexually. 

Question Eight 

Prostitution involves the exchange of what both parties are lacking. Unless either party is receiving unworthy treatment from what they give, the prostitution is moral. However, we could dig deeper and see the immorality of prostitution as a form of adultery when either party is cheating on their spouses. However, the statement " Social acceptance and governmental control would eliminate crime and problems of social-disease " would make me think of the social effects of prostitution. For instance, in a community where prostitution is well accepted, many people would deviate from the practice. 

Question Nine 

Sexual perversion is a morally wrong sexual act. It is always immoral because such sexual behaviors deviate from those which are understood by people. It is often abnormal, obsessive, and repulsive sexual behaviors that are feared by the entire society.
