Mother Teresa was a nun and a teacher born on August 26, 1910, in the Republic of Macedonia (Chidiac, 2016). The Catholic Church recognized Mother Teresa as the Saint Teresa of Calcutta. She was motivated by most of the Christian virtues but mainly lived with charity and prudence. Living by charity, Mother Teresa spent most of her life helping many the needy people, and no obstacle would be tough enough to stop her. On the other hand, she was a prudent woman since everything she did for the needy bore positive results (Chidiac, 2016). She was an ambitious woman who knew what she wanted for the people. She established many charity foundations, such as The Order of the Missionaries of Charity, which immensely helped the orphans and the poor. Mother Teresa was also motivated by the belief that she was doing God's work by helping the needy. Furthermore, she brought about moral change by encouraging people to embrace selflessness, charity, and compassion for what they do (Gabriel, 2016). Lastly, she met the needs of the people, mainly through her humanitarian activities. She opted to serve the poorest and resided amongst them and like them.
