To develop confidence in a multicultural society, one has to understand differences in cultural patterns. Factors such as values, norms, social practices, and beliefs are essential patterns that cause cultural differences (Changing Minds, n.d.) . Hall's 3 cultural factors taxonomy is quite informative in understanding a cultural difference.

Hall’s cultural taxonomy provides the best approach to understand cultural differences. The most applicable and useful quality to understand diversity in culture is the context feature. It presents cultural differences through the use of unwritten rules of people from various parts of the world ( Sauer & Riede, 2019) . The patterns of behavior dictate the context that they belong. In high-context cultures, people display implicit communication. One can only understand the meaning of their message by doing a background analysis of the speaker. For instance, one can only understand what the native Frenchman is saying by paying attention between their conversations because they utilize communication prompts such as metaphors ( Feine et al., 2019) . On the contrary, patterns of behavior for low-context cultures rely on explicit communication. The people from the cultural perspective communicate using a simple and clear approach. Examples of low-content cultures include the United States and Australia.

Context of the people helps to understand cultural differences effectively due to their distinctive nature. The taxonomy provides important information such as associations, interaction, territorial practices, and learning perspective that differentiates individuals in the high and low contexts ( Feine et al., 2019) . The features above are naturally depicted by the individuals from either of the contexts.

I identify culturally with Hall's cultural factors. I am a strict monochromic person. I ensure that I do my work according to plan and schedule. The program contributes to conflict in the workplace because most of my colleagues are from high-context, thus utilizing Polychronic time ( Sauer & Riede, 2019) . I tend to command others to follow my plan. I attend the company's meetings on time, pressure my colleagues through the mail and company forums to comply with time schedules. I also present my views to the company using clear and concise communication, unlike my colleagues.
