While their mission statement is, The school of Nursing provides academically rigorous and culturally and contextually relevant educational programs, based in the scholar-practitioner model, for a diverse array of nursing skills, abilities to select and implement evidence-based practices, and core and specialty nursing knowledge in order to transform society ("Vision, Mission, and Goals - Walden University - Acalog ACMS™", n.d.) .
It has been my utmost desire to succeed in education and grow with the knowledge I acquire. For if anyone dares to believe they can change the world, it has to begin with changing themselves first. In tandem with my goal in life is Walden’s school of nursing vision and mission. The department is geared towards making sure that their graduates are empowered with skills and knowledge to have a positive impact in the society. Also, transform the nature of services offered by nurses to enhance care given to patients worldwide; this is what I stand for. I believe that all learned people should focus on positive societal change ("Vision, Mission, and Goals - Walden University - Acalog ACMS™", n.d.) .

Additionally, it is essential in the process of acquiring knowledge that integrity is preserved to ensure that the quality of the scholars is maintained. It is these values that can motivate and inspire scholars to come up with new content that can positively change the world. Moreover, the school of nursing mission entails a student-centered program; hence, a lot of resources have been put in place to ensure that student’s educational needs are adequately catered for ("Connect | Walden University", n.d.). I believe that this is how educational institutions inspire true genius in student’s hearts.
Also, the Master of Science in nursing learning outcomes inspires growth and promises to enable nurses to have a more competent skill set. From being able to synthesize system leadership to the evaluation of a whole population’s health needs ("Program: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Walden University - Acalog ACMS™", n.d.). It is creatively prepared to ensure that nurses are competent in ensuring better healthcare provision and implementation of the patient-centered environment in the hospitals, and also being compassionate in serving people. The learning outcomes shed light on the challenges that many healthcare providers lack in their organizations. It is imperative that all nurses acquire an unrelenting commitment to their work and develop a deep understanding of the ethical principles taught therein. Therefore, I believe that Walden University is entirely equipped and have the right vision to produce competent and society changing scholars.
