The author of this article narrates the plight of the slaves during their transportation as well while serving their masters. The author reveals that during that during the passage of the slaves to their landowners they were being mistreated and could go hungry ( Equiano, 2001) . The author went further to note that the slaves were equally brutalized while serving their masters. In light of this, the two articles have a similarity in the sense that they both highlighted the mistreatments of both the indentured servitude and slaves during their passage and while serving their servants (Mittelberger, 2017; Equiano, 2001) .

Document 3 provides revelation that the relationship between European Colonists and Native Americans was not cordial. Notably, the article reveals how the European Colonists used excessive force in compelling the indigenous Pueblo people to accept Christianity and also to serve them as their masters (Hackett, 1942). Pueblo, on the other hand, revolved and rebelled the actions of the Spanish empire to rule them. The perpetual fights between the two groups, therefore, provide an explicit picture of their sour relationship. One group, European Colonist, view the other group as their servants, while the Native Americans perceive the other group as landowners that must be revolted (Hackett, 1942).

According to Aharon (2015), the Spanish and the English colonialists had a three-phase relational effect on the Native American tribes. Trade marked the first relationship where the much-needed fur from foxes and beavers, and other valuable animals were exchanged with guns and other goods from Europeans. The second phase of relationships involved the enslavement of the Indian tribes by the Europeans. Indians were treated like animals by Europeans, which culminated into the third stage of their relationship. Hostilities developed between the Indian tribes leading to the formation of alliances between some colonialists like the French and the Indians in the attempt of achieving freedom from some oppressive colonial sides. Finally, the conquest of the Indians led to their forced immigration west.

A point to note is that during the mentioned period, most of the empire used force and military power to conquer and expand their territory. On a similar note, the Spain Empire used its soldiers and missionaries in extending their territory in the land of the Native Americans (Hackett, 1942). Additionally, both the document 1 and 2 provide the history of immigration; they explain how the slaves and indentured servitude were transported from their native lands to work in the foreign territories in Europe's North American colonies. Similarly, document 1 and 2, explain that the slaves were needed to work for the landowners who can be linked to the rise of the agrarian revolution that led to the economic development in the colonies. The video combines the gradual changes in economic development, immigration phases, and expansion patterns in Europe’s North American colonists for the historical years of the 16 th and 17 th centuries (Aharon, 2015).
