The company selected for this paper is Kudler Fine Foods (KFF). KFF is a food store found in San Diego in California (Apollo Group.Inc, 2011) . Kathy Kudler, a former vice president of marketing, started the first KFF on 18 th June 1998 after financing. At the moment, the company has opened additional stores such that it now operates in three different locations. Their main store is La Jolla. The two other stores are Encinitas and Del Mar stores (Apollo Group.Inc, 2011) . Notably, all these stores are linked together via a T3 on a WAN.
A100baseT has been used to build the network environment of the La Jolla stores. The main server system for this store is IBM (C3000) that utilizes UNIX (Networking concepts, 2011) . Besides, the system has been backed up with two power backup systems namely 10TB-NAS, and 5KVA-APD-UPS. This server is used to run various areas of the store such as e-mail, printing and filing services, network services, storage control and the internet. On the other hand, the terminal and systems used in the retail store are NCR-Real-POS-82XRT-POS.

Also, the company has three HP printers that are connected to nineteen Dell computers. This component can be utilized by the management and other authorized personnel. Furthermore, the information that flows in and out of the main store (La Jolla) is conveyed through two Cisco routers and firewalls that create an inner store that distinguishes 25Mbps link from the Ethernet (Cisco, 2009). This component has nineteen VOIP phones.
The networks of the other two stores resemble that of the La Jolla store. However, they vary slightly in that both Del Mar and Encinitas Stores have six Dell computers that are connected to one HP laser jet printer. Additionally, each of these stores has six VOIP phones. This network system is essential since it allows information to be shared quickly and cheaply. The computers that have been networked can share centralized programs like consumer information or even inventory spreadsheets (Networking concepts, 2011) . As such, users can work on the same program simultaneously.
