The new HR head is expected to introduce performance appraisals. The appraisals will motivate the employees of NC , and as they will be able to give feedback on the projects , they are undertaking (Cascio, 2013) . This is in line with the new guidelines where employees are encouraged to be innovative.

The HR Head should be able to resolve conflicts and foster good relations. This is because there will be a lot of competition and friction since as was stated by the Chief Executive, the staff will no longer be expected to obey orders.

They should come up with a way of rewarding the staff and providing incentives to those who are working round the clock to develop creative innovations.

The HR Head is expected to be able to manage all the employees especially in the dawn of the new strategy that the company intends to adopt. A good HR manager should be able to create, implement, manage, and supervise policies that the Chief Executive develops.

Aspects of the HR Strategy that will completely change

Management is the first aspect that will significantly change. The fact that the staff is expected to participate in the objective creation process indicates the shift to a more proactive mode of management.

Benefits Administration- NC Insurance Company will value its staff based on individual effort and not group effort as was the case in the past. This is a useful way of keeping track of who is efficient and devising the best way of rewarding them.

Reports- The shift in strategy by the company means that the reports module will be provided in a customized reporting order that caters to the individual employee needs.

Conclusion

The new strategy introduced by the Chief Executive is an ingenious way of ensuring continuous development. The new HR Head has a significant role to play in the implementation of the new strategy to ensure the growth of NC Insurance. The outline provided in the essay gives a benchmark of what is expected from them.
