Purpose and Discussion for the night
The purpose of the session was to discuss "Compensation of Special Groups" where significant focus was given to the six Special Groups in a company. Additionally, the session was also meant to provide a clear introduction to individual job descriptions as well as taking a review on the second exam. In discussing the contents of Chapter 14, which is "Compensation of Special Groups", a keen interest was given to describing how the different special groups in an organization fit within the workflow while considering their contributions to the organization. Further discussion into the individual job descriptions provided an opportunity for analyzing these descriptions and evaluating their relative worth to the company. Finally, the second exam review consisted of pointing out the key points and slides that the students ought to be conversant with.
What went well
Notable positive outcomes from the session include hinting of the topics that would be on the exam. It is worth noting that such hints are always added advantage since they act as a guide for students during their examination preparations. Also, during the review of the "After Action Review" for the previous week, it was noted that the students needed to reduce the noise they made to provide a class environment free of distraction. Finally, completing the class early was a positive outcome providing an opportunity to prepare for coming exams.

What did not go well
Even though a significant part of the session went well, there was little class participation while covering the class contents. Little contribution often creates monotony as the session is centered on the instructor. Also, low-class participation makes it challenging for the instructor to asses understanding among the learners.
Where to improve
Areas of improvement are touching both the learners and the instructor. First, there is a need to create class participation with the learners answering questions posed by the professor. Participating in class will improve understanding and concentration, which will translate into success for the unit of study. Additionally, the learners need to make prior preparations to actively participate and interact during the sessions.
