Initially, occupational health’s history can be traced from the Ancient Greece times when physician-aided studies by the father of medicine, i.e., Hippocratic Oath, spearheaded the research on how harmful mining was at the time. Later on, occupational health was formulated and fostered in Ontario immediately after the British Factory Act in the mid-17 th Century.
