Corporate or organizational citizen refers to efforts a business puts in place to make society as a whole, incorporating not only its activities but also the investments initiated. On the other hand, multinational corporations involve a business organization situated in one country but contact their business activities in many countries. This paper comprehensively analyses the role of good organizational citizens and multinational corporations.

As Johnson (2018) elaborates, the coalition for environmentally responsible economies (CERES) demands that a good corporate citizen should dedicate itself to environmental awareness and accountability. To attain this, the organizations protect the biosphere through the elimination of harmful substances in the environment, using sustainable natural resources, and reducing waste. It can also meet the admirable state by conserving energy through the use of sustainable energy sources, producing safe products, reducing risk, restoring the environment, and informing the public.

Furthermore, a good organization requires to try its best and meet all the stakeholders’ needs. As argued by Johnson (2018), the stakeholders' analysis helps determine the various groups and how well to satisfy them. The steps followed are identifying the stakeholders and discovering the importance of each. Identifying stakeholders' interests, determining how to engage them, gaining agreement, and moving the activities to the work plan are all essential (Johnson, 2018).

Besides, a good corporate operates in a global economy, which, in turn, permits it to discover lower-cost ways to produce its products. The long term effect is increased consumers’ choices, which is advantageous to both the developed and already developed countries (Johnson, 2018).

Lastly, when working globally, corporates should also consider cultural diversity. Globalization comes with tension around the universal ethics and local values. However, with sufficient interaction in the current globalization, there is an increase in the chances of acquiring common ground. The common ground helps to promote peace, dialog, and make the entire world more humane.
