An evaluation of the provided scenario indicates the need for implementing and improving the organizational capacity for innovation. The healthcare organization is ranked among the lowest in promoting patient interaction with providers, engagement, and access to health information. I would consider a wide range of strategies to promote the implementation of patient-centered medical homes in future to allow interaction between healthcare professionals and patients and improve access to health information.
As a current health care administrator, I would ensure the organization has modern facilities as well as up-to-date equipment. I would conduct extensive research to promote alignment of the expansion efforts with the consumer expectations. I would promote provisioning of improved patient care through technology such as Electronic Medical Records systems (EHRs). The systems effectively provide essential information in formats that cannot be produced using the traditional paper charts ( Manca, 2015) . The EHRs provides access to resources and information that point healthcare professionals towards the best approaches to a wide range of conditions encountered in practice.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
I would ensure the EMRs are implemented effectively and the workforce is well prepared to make evidence-based decisions. The other strategy would be offset healthcare costs using advancements such as Medicare as we expand the organization's services to other areas to serve more patients. Affordable innovations present ways to innovate, do more with less, be flexible and help resource-strained and complex organizations address challenges in healthcare delivery ( Mazumdar-Shaw, 2018) . Medicare would ensure the availability and accessibility of healthcare to every citizen on a sustainable basis.
HSO in healthcare organizations actively participates and improves a culture of safety. HSO effectively improves organizational innovation capacity through engagement with patients and colleagues (Berkowitz & McCarthy, 2013). In various aspects, HSO are natural leaders who improve healthcare by engaging with care providers and patients to improve quality and safety ( Buchbinder & Shanks, 2011) . As a current administrator, I would assess its readiness for developing the organizational capacity for change by assessing their knowledge base as well as the methodology they prefer to adapt to healthcare aspects.
Moreover, I would investigate whether they leverage patient safety teams and analyze and implement changes after an event. Change management in my organization would be implemented for innovation by the administration following the previously proposed strategies. The tactic would be used based on my confidence in that they will play satisfactory roles in patients. The tactics would also ensure efficiency in the organization's operation and provide quality healthcare. For instance, the administration will learn how to effectively deal with clients that use insurance policies and Medicare.
