Humanization and Dehumanization
Humanization has been depicted as the process the oppressed undergoes to become free and confirm their identities from the oppressors. Dehumanization is the process that the oppressors use against the oppressed to achieve the basic freedom and change their conditions. Freire contends that dehumanization is “a distortion of the vocation of becoming more fully human” (Freire, 2007). Freire utilizes the word distortion to show the disgusting acts of dehumanization.
Oppression
According to Freire (2007), oppression is a situation where a superior group in society imposes certain conditions on the inferior and as a result; the inferior group is prevented from challenging or questioning the conditions. I hold a similar opinion to Freire’s about the act of oppression that it always deprive certain group its rights and freedom.

False Generosity
According to Freire (2007), false generosity is an act of hypocrisy, and in most instances, it is done out of self-interest. It is due to the hypocrisy that the dispensers of false generosity get triggered in the slightest danger to their sources. An example of false generosity is fake acts of kindness from a friend or politicians who are close to you because they want to gain something.
Fear of Freedom
The fear of freedom is when the oppressed do not see themselves as the oppressed, leading to their fear to look for freedom. The oppressed always behave in the ways dictated to them by the oppressors. They fear freedom because they cannot go beyond the set ideals and behaviors. An example of fear of freedom is when the public fails to hold the leadership of the day accountable in what is set as their rights. It is usually promoted by inferiority and fear to accept that they have been oppressed.
The Consciousness of the Oppressed and the Oppressors
The consciousness of the oppressed is significantly used to show how oppression privileges the oppressed and give way for liberation. But in most instances, the oppressed view themselves as the opposite of the oppressors under consciousness circumstances. On the other hand, the consciousness of the oppressors emerges when the oppressor identifies everything around them as their object of domination. They usually act and control everything within their reach.
Critical Analysis of Freire Idea
I agree with Freire ideas about the consciousness of the oppressors. This is because when oppressors become conscious, they tend to take control of all things and people. They, therefore, make the oppressed submissive and beg for their rights and freedom. This idea is critically presented by Freire, and I agree that the consciousness of the oppressor always leads to the increased woes of the oppressed.
