Since the consumers of these plastic water bottles are not restricted in the number of plastic water bottles in the United States society, we get to understand that most of these citizens buy more plastic water bottles depending on their urge of drinking water. The federal government creating initiatives in which will aim on creating awareness of the dangers of not recycling these plastic water bottles in the United States society. Creating awareness will promote a sense of self-responsibility in dealing with the issue of disposal of plastic water bottles.
The state government is identifying other alternatives that can be used to repackage the water which will not cause environmental degradation to the United States environment.
Funding and Staffing
The United States federal government will levy fees for companies who will be found manufacturing or packaging their products using plastic water bottles. The revenue collected by the federal government in the form of taxes will be used to finance the activities of the plastic banning initiative in the United States. The staff that will be involved in this initiative include government inspectors and non-governmental environmental program employees.
