Political language varies with the setting and time where the politicians are. It is undoubtedly true that the language which politicians use when she or he is in need of the votes is different from the language they use after clinching the position and has the political power. A good example, in this case, is the USA President Donald Trump. While campaigning and pushing for his agenda for what he termed as “Make America Great Again" he outlines some of the action he will put in place to ensure that the infrastructure is made better. The language he used was kind of persuasive to convince Americans to vote for him so that he could carry out reforms and makes changes and mistake of the former president Mr. Barrack Obama. However, his language at a time during his political campaign betrayed and exposed some arrogance; he was cautious not to mentioned or clarify anything he said that could bring about confusion among the people in the USA. He used powerful and convincing words which lured people and at the end of, it, he was voted in as the new president of the United States of America.
After his election to the top seat in the country, things seem to have changes in the way the president sometimes speak or address the press. The president no longer uses any persuasive langue, and he has resorted to a more commanding tone when addressing issues. He has many controversies and seems not to be addressing them in language which can create peace between America and other countries such as Russia. His controversies and the language he uses seem to be putting the nation deeply in the internal and external insecurities than saving it.
