1. Provide a brief overview of your understanding of your Energy Graph from the Learning Report, including two personal strengths and two personal challenges that relate to your working style.

The energy cycle greatly influences how one executes their working style. Some of the strengths of the cycle that benefit my working style are the explore and examine steps. My strength in the awareness step is driven by the fact that I apply deliberate measures. My understanding of any project or task drives me when beginning. Examining the details required for execution is also flawless. This drives my need to draw the best from the project. My conversations are also then driven by accuracy and a search for facts. This is my second strength that ensures that the project starts well. (Foronda, MacWilliams & McArthur, 2016). The weaknesses observed include extreme intensity when faced with an exciting project. This may derail the core objectives as passion takes over. Execution may also be challenging when the project presents stress. This is often because the actual ground work may differ from the preliminary plans that are used for lining up activities. My second weakness comes about in the inability to adapt fast. This interferes with the ability to engage in an authentic communication session. Changes on the ground and budget may limit the extent or planned duration of execution.

2. Describe your experience(s) of conversations as they relate to the laws of conversation and the four levels of the conversation meter.

Conversations prove that all persons have concerns and purpose. A person may resist one's show for concern because it is suspicious and it goes beyond their purpose. They may suspect the other person of pretense. An example is a colleague resisting an offer for help because it will seem to cultivate an extra curricula friendship. The resisting person may do so because you are unaware of their purpose or value. This is also because it may seem like you are overruling their purpose for this communication. In the same work situation, a person may respond to offers for help differently. This could be because one colleague feels that the helping colleagues their best interests at heart. This situation may reflect sincerity and authenticity. Such a situation may involve a show of concern where there seems to be no ulterior motive. This is different from the waste of communication or lack of accuracy that take place between people with different or perceived differences in purpose.

3. Discuss your strategies for being a successful student, including how you will incorporate your strengths and address your challenges.

Being a successful student requires developing the best communication skills possible. Skills such as active listening will come in handy when it comes to verbal lessons. This will ensure that the most is derived from the lessons. Being a good listener will also make the difference between asking nuisance questions and actual questions. Honest or actual questions may be used to enhance understanding and to clarify any initial misconceptions. Incorporating strengths such as accuracy and a search for details will make a better student. A student must also have some level of discipline as well as passion to apply to their initiative. This initiative will drive their determination when things get hard. The student must also be willing to adapt to the working styles that are presented to them (Arnold & Boggs, 2015). This is because each instructor may have a different working culture that imparts knowledge in a different way. Embracing each teaching style will lead to objective learning which will allow for the best learning environment. Teaching oneself how to adjust to changes may be the best way to learn and get the best out of student life.

4. Reflect on your overall experience in the course and how it applies to two of the following: academic activities, professional career, or personal life.

The course impacts how to approach professional activities. This helps to develop professionalism and skills when interacting with people in this capacity. It is most helpful in carrying out a self evaluation that determines one's strengths and weaknesses. This determination helps an individual to formulate the most workable solutions. The information also helps to reduce the chances of poor performance due to weaknesses. One is able to prepare themselves adequately and make the most of every situation. The course also helps to boost personal communication. Major highlights include avoiding judgment, interjecting other people's stories and imposing advice on people. Maintaining eye contact and actively listening and retaining information is vital (Arnold & Boggs, 2015). Showing interest and concern is also a boost to personal communication. Lastly, the course helped in creating awareness on the role of emotional intelligence. Measuring one's reactions and actions in relation to others is a vital part of personal communication. Sincerity also fosters healthy communication. Understanding one's emotions was the best way to maintain control over mental health.
