In this paper, we will evaluate an interview with a health care worker. We will explain the Interviewee's role, professionalism, and professional responsibility, view of leadership. I was excited to interview with R.N and discovered that he lives in the same state as me but different towns. Although the whole interview was comprised of only four questions, I enjoyed the conversation. I had a chance to understand her role in the healthcare in industry and what leadership and professionalism meant to him.

Role

R.N is a nurse who is registered under-delivery unit at a community hospital. He is a specialized nurse in the labor and delivery unit and excited about his work as a delivery nurse. Apart from this professional role, Mr. R. N is also a part of several committees in the hospital, one of them being the adoption committee where he is the chairman.

Professionalism

According to M. R.N, professionalism is keeping up with practice evidence-based, and the most crucial aspect of his work is maintaining honesty and advocating for the rights of her patients. Professionalism influences his job significantly as a nurse; he ensures to maintain open communication concerning the health of the baby and that of the parent, which is the most crucial part of his profession. He retains his professionalism by offering equal treatment to all the patients regardless of race or ethnicity, or color.

Stewards of Healthcare

According to R.N, a steward of healthcare ensures that he promotes a positive working environment within the place of work and that leaders should be the steward of healthcare. Leaders can be considered as stewards of healthcare because they have the responsibility of the establishment of a good relationship with the other team members regardless of the skills. To be a steward in healthcare, a steward has the burden of helping other members function at their level best and nature their skills.

Professional Advocacy, Authenticity, Power and Influence

R.N believes that leaders should have professional advocacy, authenticity, influence, and power. With these aspects, a leader will gain respect and acquiescence .R.N feels that it is easy to influence people as a leader when a good relationship is used rather than power when power is enforced, people tend to turn away from the leader. Nurses work in teams, and when a leader advocates or a good relationship, the staff will feel appreciated, increase output, and willing to work together.
