Q1.
Project managers can harness the power of social media in supporting their programs in different ways. Firstly, they need to accept that social media is here with us and an integral part of engaging employees and other stakeholders in program management. The program manager needs to guide their team on how to execute and use social media by developing a strategy, embracing its attributes, and use to harness the strengths of the program’s team (Fichtner, 2015). The program manager can harness the power of social media to build the team, have effective communication, and encourage innovation and collaboration among the members. They must make new connections that are relevant to the business.
Q2.
As a program manager, one can use the project management software to plan and schedule the project, ensure that team collaboration is achieved, track the progress made in the project, make a budget for the project, report on the project and bill several aspects or components of the project. The project management software offers solutions to project challenges that a program manager may face in the execution of their project and allows them to communicate effectively and make appropriate decisions (Karlson, 2015). For instance, SaaS (software as-as-service) and cloud-based project management software are some of the most common software in project management that manager can use to achieve positive outcomes.

Q3.
Gaining support from all teams, especially virtual teams is critical to the overall success of a program. Imperatively, I would organize my virtual teams to support the program through effective communication through live chat rooms and compensating them since they do not get the chance to bump into one another. Secondly, I would select appropriate technologies for interactions with the virtual teams and encourage informal conversation frequently (IESE Business School, 2013). I would also forge a collaborative approach to ensure that they work together in delivery the program outcomes.
