An athlete should consult a financial advisor to help their finances since they are brands just like companies (Barell & Marken, 2020). Financial advisors enable an athlete to make informed decisions about their money.
An athlete should be encouraged to live within their means (Barell & Marken, 2020). Athletes should set goals that are measurable and achievable to help them obtain financial security.
