Question 1
The results from the strengths finder were as follows: My top character strength was perseverance. I have 24 characters with perseverance at the top of the list, and the bottom is the love of learning. My top three characters apart from perseverance are leadership, kindness, and hope, while the characters that I least depict include forgiveness, curiosity, and love of learning. In addition to the characters, I have several core virtues that include wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, temperance, and finally transcendence. As identified by the survey, my perseverance character is marked by the tendency of finishing whatever I start and remaining resilient in the course despite the presence of obstacles. It also involves completing tasks that seem difficult. My second best character is leadership and is concerned with leadership is involved with encouraging people to get things done and maintaining a healthy relationship with the group members. My third best character is kindness, and the hallmarks include doing other people favors, assisting them, and taking care of them.
My bottom three characters are not necessarily weaknesses but are rather traits that I least or I find difficult in manifesting. Among them is forgiveness. From the survey, I find it difficult to accept the shortcomings of other people and also the fact that I am reluctant to give people a second chance. In some cases, I might be vengeful. The second character that I least depict is curiosity where I find topics rarely fascinating to me including a systemic lack of discovery and exploration. Finally, the trait that is almost non-existence to me is the love of learning. From the survey, I have a low interest in mastering new skills, knowledge, and topics both in the formal and informal fields. With regards to my core values, they are broad and cover all the characters that I have shown from the survey. The results are fascinating because I expected perseverance to be the best trait and it really did because of my input during the survey. What I didn't see coming was the love of learning which appeared to be the trait that I least manifest.

The elements of emotional intelligence are concerned with the ability to manage one’s emotions. And those depicted by people surrounding an individual. High emotional intelligence means an individual know the way they are feeling, the meaning of their emotions, and the impact of such emotions to other people. According to Bennet (2017), the elements of emotional intelligence discussed include self-awareness, motivation, self-regulation, social skills, and empathy. Management of these elements is a recipe for a higher emotional intelligence. With regards to my score in the survey, the best score which is perseverance falls under the element of motivation. It is a fall under the element of motivation because it involves finishing whatever one starts and taking pleasure in finishing the uncompleted tasks. The second element in which I performed well is on the social skills, particularly leadership. It is a social skill because it involves encouraging a group and maintaining a good relationship with the particular group.
The third element of emotional intelligence in which I excelled in was empathy. Through the depiction of kindness and hope, I can improve my emotional intelligence through empathy. Kindness is about doing well towards others and taking care of them and on the other hand, hope entails expecting the best in future and working towards it. With regards to the leadership assessment tools, some of the notable elements include awareness, communication, and character building traits, knowledge, and vision. From my survey, some of the leadership skills identified include leadership, bravery, fairness, teamwork, and judgment. In the leadership skills, I performed rather averagely in all the areas.
Question 3
Several ways can be used to improve my leadership skills. From the above question, it was apparent that the elements of leadership that can be used to assess an individual include awareness, communication, and character building traits, knowledge, and vision ( Allworth & Passmore, 2008). It is also important at this juncture to point out some of the leadership qualities as obtained in the survey include bravery, fairness, teamwork, and judgment. In tandem with my leadership strengths identified in the survey, I can use a number of ways in ensuring that I improve my leadership skills. The first intervention is to have a clear vision including the mission and the specific goals I would want for the team. In this regard, I have the duty to give a clear path that the team is supposed to follow. The second method I will utilize involves being passionate which involves applying the correct level of enthusiasm on a given project. It also involves finding the right way to express the much-needed zeal and charisma to a given task.
The third way in which I will use to improve my leadership skills will be adhering to my moral and values. The decisions and choices I make must be in tandem with my morals and values and those of the organization by extension. I will also ensure that I act as a role model by leading by example. A good leader will always ensure that he or she models the members of their team in pursuit of a bigger goal. I will ensure that I maintain a positive attitude among my subjects by always looking at the strengths of every situation. A positive attitude will not only be helpful to me, but it will also create a good working environment that will be marked with possibilities. It is imperative that my communication skills improve so that I can articulate my vision, skills, goals, expectations, and intentions. I should also be in a position to motivate my team members using various techniques and above all being able to accept and learn from my weaknesses and failures. Finally, I should be in a position to learn through education and exposure so that I remain at speed with the trends in leadership.
Question 4
Certain limitations exist with regards to the quizzes and the concepts as read from the module. First, the questions do not take cognizance of the fact that the characters as outlined in the survey result do not have equal strength. Some traits are more pronounced than others, and therefore when analyzing each trait, their strength should be taken into consideration. The concepts from the module do not clearly outline the specific emotional intelligence or leadership skills that would apply to various characters as presented in the survey. Additional important aspects concerning leadership development are not covered in the material or the quizzes. Some of the aspects other than improving leadership that has not been covered include leadership styles, types of leaders, and the challenges that can be faced by a leader in their course of leadership. Also, several factors can be useful for me to know with regards to improving my leadership skills. They include my preferences which will inform the choice of the kind of organization or team that I wish to head. Another factor is my strengths and weakness which are critical in determining the areas that I need help or not. Finally, it is important for me to understand my values and morals which will define my leadership philosophy and characteristics.
