Latinos are people from South America, Central America, Cuban and Mexican. Puerto Rican may also refer to another Spanish culture. Latinos did not go to America so as to beg or threaten but to participate. Though they faced many problems, Latinos came to US for the sake of a healthier lifestyle, Greater chances and also for safety purposes ( Padilla, 1985 ). They also fled violence and chaos from their homebased nation and they were attracted by chances in the US (Latino Americans) 

General Miles gave out a decree manifesto in which he swore to defend the life, right and contentment of Puerto Ricans. Many poor Ricans also working classes took this as an invitation to the United States ( Lewis, 1966 ). Support in the US, Puerto Ricans commenced to bout Spanish business and stole their properties too but to their inordinate tremor, the Americans did not retain their promise to them after they won the war. When the Spain conceded Puerto Rico, U.S in the Agreement of Paris ( Duany, 2003 ), the United States overlooked the fresh constitutionally- elected local assembly of Puerto Rico in goodwill of making its own colonial organisation. They further invaded Puerto Rico coffee business implementing a sugar economy and making massive shortage among the populace ( Hochberg, 1986).

The Latinos people greatly helped in shaping and moulding of the United States even though they greatly faced obstacles not only in their country but also in United States ( Rodolfo, 1992).
