Introduction
A Qualitative Data Analysis Software is vital for the speedy and easy computation of data, precisely in the healthcare sector where large amounts of data must be taken in. For this reason, there is a dire need to explore the existent software systems and decipher the most relevant and effective system prior adoption. In this case, I covered a number of QDA software, and through comparison and matching with expected use, managed to select the most relevant and efficient.
Approach and Sampling Criteria
For a better analysis of the two involved software, it is important to understand their unique features, and how they assist the users in computing larger pints of data. The approach will entail uncovering the limitations and strengths of each software, which will then inform the decision on the best choice for the software.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Analysis
The two competing software are ATLAS.ti and NVivo. Both are excellent with large pints of data, and can be used by multiple users. They also allow users to integrate their computations, though ATLAS.ti does not allow users to use the data simultaneously ( ATLAS.ti, 2017) . NVivo, on the other hand allows simultaneous use, and data can be downloaded to other software for analysis. The associated major setback is delays in computing large data sets, which may limit productivity and consequently, efficiency (NVivo, 2017).
Additionally, ATLAS.ti is only limited to Windows XP and Windows Vista, which lack most features and have been greatly passed by time, in regards to technological advancement. This makes NVivo the most effective and efficient Qualitative Data Analysis software, as it has more strengths in comparison to the rival technology.
Experience Obtained
Throughout the process, I have garnered important information regarding the operations of software meant for QDA, which equips me with relevant information adaptable to any sector. I have a clear understanding of the functionalities of these systems, and thus I am better positioned in the healthcare sector, in regards to operation of various QDA software.
