What is your personal definition of continuous quality improvement?

Personally, the definition of the term continuous quality improvement is simple and clear since the term means working towards quality care that is better and fit for patients. This care should be performed daily where each patient's needs are considered and looked into. All the healthcare institutions, as well as those in charge of providing healthcare, should be aware that it is their full responsibility to take care of the patients by giving them quality services (Johnson, & Sollecito, 2018). The reason as to why they need to be handled well is because every sick person's wish is to be in their beds at their homes and hence need a facility that will have the exact comfort of their homes. Therefore, it is the work of healthcare providers to ensure that tension and anxiety are fully removed from the patients.

How would you relate this definition to operations in a health care organization?

The relation between quality healthcare services and the organizations is very close, and it is the one that permeates healthcare. The point on which healthcare services as well as the outcomes are increased to a satisfactory level to the patients is what is referred to as quality healthcare. It is relatively consistent with the current professional knowledge. In a daily routine of a qualified healthcare provider, they tend to learn something new and apply it daily ( Bailie, Bailie, Larkins, & Broughton, 2017 ) . This means that anything that can be used to improve the healthcare system is considered to be the physician's duty to apply it and make sure that quality is the key. Patient assessment, treatment, and monitoring are the duties of every healthcare provider up to the point of recovery.

How do we try to build new methods of practicing based on profound knowledge, most of which already is tacit in the organization, as well as the new knowledge that the CQI process generates?

Various health care organizations worldwide are the ones responsible for measuring and assessing the efforts meant to improve the quality of health care. These organizations assess whether the efforts meant to improve the quality of healthcare are leading to the expected outcomes and directions in the primary endpoint. They also evaluate if the efforts are contributing to the unexpected outcomes in the various parts of the system. Finally, they examine if the healthcare system needs additional improvement or if they are enough ( Bailie, Bailie, Larkins, & Broughton, 2017 ) . The main reason as to why they assess the healthcare system is because they will be able to establish if the improvements are working or not. They will also be able to know whether the improvements brought about positive or negative effects.
