Age
The survey asked participants to provide their age. Out of the 50, 10 were 18 years old, 20 respondents were 20 years old, 15 were 23 years, and 10 were 25 years old, while the rest of the 5 was 28 years old.The data collected revealed the following distribution of ages: 18-year-olds made up 20%, 40% were 20 year-olds, 30% were 23 years, 20% were 25 years and 10% were 28 years old.
Gender
The survey had intentionally planned to have an equal distribution of gender; therefore, 25 of the respondents were male while the 25 were female. There was a 50% equal distribution of gender among the participants of the survey.

College Status
The survey intended to inquire about the different levels of college education each participant belonged. Only 10 of the respondents said they were in freshman year, 5 were currently in their sophomore year, 25 in junior year and 10 were in their senior year. This meant that 20% were in freshman year, 10% were currently in their sophomore year, 50% were in a junior year, and 20% were in their senior year.
Race
Based on the fact that the survey intended to qualify racial attitudes to towards race, the respondents were asked to indicate their racial orientation. From the participants, 8 were African-American, 7 were Asian, 6 had Latino descent, the majority was White who was 25, while the remaining 4 mentioned that they had come from mixed race families. This meant that African-Americans made up 16% of the sampled population, 14% were Asian, 12% were Latino, 50% were White and 8% had either mixed races or did not belong to any group.
Marital Status
The survey requested the respondents to declare their marital status, it should be noted that cohabiting was also defined as a domestic partner. From the 50 survey respondents, 36 stated that they were Single, never married 36, 9 indicated that they were married or had a domestic partner; no one was a widow or widower, 3 indicated that they were legally divorced and 2 stated that they had been separated. The sample reveals that 18% of the population are married or have a domestic partner, 6% have experienced a divorce, 4% are separated, while 72% are single people who have never married.
Religion
The survey had asked the respondents to state the religion they practice or proclaim. From the data collected, 7 out of the 50 respondents indicated that they were Buddhist, 5 were Catholics, 5 were Christians, only 1 was Muslim, 2 were professing Jews, 10 indicated that their religious affiliations were not listed, while 20 did not have any inclination towards religion. As a representation of the college population that was surveyed, the respondents revealed that 14% are Buddhist, 10% are Catholics, another 10% are professing Christians, 2% are Muslim, 4% are Jewish, 20% had other religions, and 40% are non-religious.
