Racial disparity has been at the center of numerous debates, which shows the sensitivity of the matter. Racial disparity is characterized by many negative aspects such as racial discrimination, prejudice, and injustices that are exerted on the minority by a race that considers itself superior. In the United States, members of African American community, as well as the Hispanic and Latino community, have experienced racial discrimination and profiling for not belonging to the white race. As a result, efforts have been geared towards ending the negative implications of racial disparities, thus giving hope to the society, as well as hope for a brighter future for those who have experienced racial injustices in the past. Currently, there is indeed hope for racial reconciliation as demonstrated by the actions, activities such as protests as well as stance were taken by Americans in a bid to end the negative implications of racial disparity. The aim of this paper, therefore, is to describe racial reconciliation concerning how it is currently being championed and facilitated.
Racial reconciliation refers to measures or efforts adopted towards unifying the different races, thus getting rid of racial disparities and the associated negative implications. Among the factors that show hope for racial reconciliation is the fact that through the protests against racial injustices, the world's attention has been captured concerning the matter. The first stttep of bringing unity among conflicting parties is creating awareness of the existing difference (In Sarat & In Ogletree, 2017). In the United States, there have been numerous protests, which have called the issue of racial injustices to attention, thus increasing the chances of racial reconciliation that can be done through addressing of the racial injustices voiced through the protests.

Another factor that shows hope for racial reconciliation is based on it being preached across the United States through churches and social institutes. Many churches have advocated for the idea of racial reconciliation, which through the Christian community is increasing the chances of the same occurring. Similarly, the Christian faithful are practicing the measures towards racial reconciliation by not engaging in racial injustices against others as well as advocating for the same, thus the hope for racial reconciliation (In Sarat & In Ogletree, 2017). There is hope for racial reconciliation as demonstrated at workplaces in the United States where diversity has been achieved through the employment of individuals of all races. This is a demonstration of acceptance and coexistence, which is among the ways through which hope for racial reconciliation is seen as, well as the same being achieved.
Lastly, borrowing from the occurrences in other countries, which those countries have also triumphed and overcome similar conditions, there is also hope that the issue of racial disparity in the United States will end thus racial reconciliation. For instance, countries such as Rwanda have gone through extreme adverse experiences, which is, in this case, is the Rwanda genocide of April 1994, and such countries have overcome their trying times. The fact that other countries have overcome their differences, gives hope to Americas, that they too can achieve racial reconciliation (In Sarat & In Ogletree, 2017). Therefore driving on the idea that smaller countries such as Rwanda being able to move past such occurrences, Americans should have hope for racial reconciliation, as the United States is better equipped financially and regarding workforce. Therefore, campaigns and movements can be funded in a bid to address the issue of racial disparity by creating awareness and fighting for equality, thus achieving racial reconciliation.
