Metaethics refers to one of the three branches of ethics that seek to understand the nature of ethical statements, ethical properties, judgments, as well as attitudes. Communities are also likely to find themselves in a dilemma when bad laws are also set with the intent of discriminating others thus only escalating the existing situation. It could as well become so difficult to bring such stop such encounter with each group being on the offensive in an attempt to fight for what they believe is right. This is also witnessed in countries such as America where the blacks are usually perceived negatively by a large population of the whites. It has persisted since long ago when the slave trade was ripe. Among the reason leading such a vice was brought about by the escalated level of poverty especially in continents like Africa. This form of discrimination is about stereotypes and prejudice and morally unjust because it harms the well-being of individuals, freedom making it hard for some to socialize easily without the fear of being discriminated based on their skin color (Mackie, 1977).
In conclusion, poverty is blamed for having led to the escalated level of violence among these societies. The poor are, therefore, unlikely to have access to justice as well as other critical resource implying that they are more likely to be subjected to poverty with no hope in sight. It is important to consider the application of moral reasoning while approaching such an issue thus helps stop this menace from going on in the society.
