The case study proffered indicates that my company should submit a proposal indicating the previous catering services it has provided to be considered a relevant outsourced business candidate. I will not reject the bid even with the mandatory requirement in play because I believe my response will reflect negatively on my business’s reputation, competitiveness, reliability, and trust that I can deliver in the future ( Alhawamdeh, & Alsmairat, 2019) . Instead, I will use the emergent decision-making strategy that entails making verdicts that are risky, difficult to reverse, and cost-intensive ( Stretton, 2017) . When I receive the RFP to provide catering services to a corporate comprising 200 members, yet the organization has not engaged in the large-scale business mentioned above, I will first convene an urgent meeting with top and mid-level management to assess the proposal offered critically and to suggest alternatives that should be considered before responding to the potential client on whether the company will deliver catering services as required or not ( Elbanna, Thanos, & Jansen, 2020) . I will then appraise all the options available while trying to push for outsourcing as the best option that will comprehensively meet the catering needs of 200 people ( Neugebauer, Figge, & Hahn, 2020) . When the meeting concludes after potentially selecting outsourcing of the service as the best-fit judgment, I will request one supervisor to review the best caterers who can successfully provide quality catering services of the customer’s nature ( Sniazhko, 2019) . The top catering company will be selected, based on vital elements, such as open communication, availability of necessary equipment, moderate cost, reliability expressed in past events, and excellent customer service ( Agburu, Anza, & Iyortsuun, 2017) . I will then write a proposal to the client, mentioning that I will cater to its employees in collaboration with an experienced partner. I will also reassure the customer that costs will not inflate, food will be delivered on time, employees will enjoy a variety of dishes, and that the client service will be top-notch ( Francis-Smythe, Robinson, & Ross, 2013) . I believe the customer mentioned in the case study will be rational and flexible enough to consider my suggestion and accord me an opportunity that may be the origin of a long-term relationship, which may increase sales through referrals in the future.
